Dayton police ask for help identifying suspects in card theft from crash victim

Dayton police are asking for help identifying two people who used an older man’s stolen debit card about a month after he was hit by a car.

The department posted security camera photos of the two to social media.

According to the Dayton Police Department, the older man was hit by a car in the Brown Street area in mid-August. Some time after that, his debit card was stolen.

Police said that the people used the car in several local businesses.

Officers asked that anyone who recognizes the people in the photos call 937-333-COPS or Miami Valley Crime Stoppers at 937-222-STOP.
