The same type of construction is now continuing to the center of the terminal, but the baggage claim door by the south entrance will remain open along with the valet and taxi areas outside of that door.

The airport will also add new terrazzo ceilings and floors in the evenings during this phase, which will last about three and a half months, Slaybaugh said.
A third phase on the south end will start after the second is finished, wrapping up terminal construction in October 2019.
