Springfield police arrested Riley after receiving a report of a man struck by a car at the intersection of James Street and Woodside Avenue, according to court records.

The man told police he and Riley had an argument inside the car and she told him to get out, according to the documents. The victim said he attempted to flee Riley, but a privacy fence prevented him from getting away before he was struck by the Chevrolet Cruze.

A witness told police he heard a female’s voice yell, “Imma run you over,” according to the document. The bystander said he then saw the Cruze strike the victim, throwing him onto the car’s hood, before the vehicle fled.

The victim sustained multiple abrasions to his torso and a possible broken leg. He was transported to the Springfield Regional Medical Center for treatment, where Riley then attempted to contact him, according to the court records. Police responded to the hospital and arrested her.

Riley is expected to be arraigned this week in Clark County Common Pleas Court.
