A Springfield postal worker was robbed while he was on his route delivering mail, according to a Springfield police report.
Springfield police began their investigation on Monday at around 11 a.m. where they spoke with a mail carrier who said he was on the 300 block of East Pleasant Street when a man approached him, according to the report.
“(The postal worker) stated he was standing outside his postal service vehicle when an unknown suspect forced him up against the postal truck and forcibly removed his wallet from his person,” the report says.
