Rocking Horse Community Health Center locked down after threat

Rocking Horse Community Health Center was placed on lockdown today.

According to a social media post, the health center on South Limestone was forced to close to its doors this morning.

“The Rocking Horse Community Health Center Springfield Office received a credible threat against a patient in our building,” Rocking Horse said in the post. “At that time we locked the building down to ensure patient and staff safety. Springfield Police were called in to investigate the threat and provide security. The lock down has been lifted and we are now open for patient care. The Springfield Police are continuing their investigation. All patients and staff are safe. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
