When police arrived, they spoke with the victim who said, “just before she called dispatch, she heard loud noises coming from outside her residence.”
The victim told police she looked out her front door and saw two people, according to the report.

The victim said she went outside to confront the two when the male suspect became mad and started kicking the rear passenger side of her vehicle above the tire, causing damage to her vehicle, the report says.

Police have requested a warrant for the two suspects, Courtney Self and Jimmy Dornon, according to the police report.
On Saturday around 3:15 p.m., the information desk got a phone call from a victim who reported the theft of some of his items from his storage unit at Home Road Self Storage, according to a second Springfield police report.
The victim said he noticed sometime last week that there was a different pad lock on his unit.
“(The victim) stated he called the owners of the storage company where they came out and cut the lock off, and he replaced it with one of his own,” the report says.
The victim told police he later noticed his old lock that had been cut off sitting next to the unit.
“(The victim) opened his unit, he noticed several items missing, such as a microscope, fencing gear, three locked safes, different military paraphernalia, and 12-15 boxes of dishes, pots and pans, and reading material,” the report says.
According to the report, gun ammunition and other random items were also stolen.
No witness or suspect information was available.
Springfield police continue their investigations into both theft incidents.
