The report stated that a vehicle owned by Valerie Pendleton, 1019 Wayne Ave., pulled out from where it was parked along the north curb of Lagonda, failing to yield to the motorcycle.
The motorcycle, which also carried passenger Wilma Prater, was attempting to turn into an alley off Lagonda when the car pulled into its path the report said.
Parsons and Prater were taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital. As of 8 p.m. Monday, both were listed in fair condition.
Man arrested on assault charges
Kyle S. Rusk, 22, of 1910 E. High St. in Springfield, was arrested on charges of assault and domestic violence Sunday, Oct. 4, according to a police report.
Rusk slapped a woman he knew several times in the face and spit in her face at his home about 6 a.m. Sunday, according to the report. Rusk also punched through a glass window, according to the report.
He was taken to Clark County Jail.
Flat-screen TV reported stolen
Thefts reported to police and sheriff’s deputies included:
• A man from the 400 block of North Florence Street reported the theft of a flat-screen TV, valued at $400, from his home between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, according to a police report.
