Police obtained surveillance video from the store as part of their investigation, the report said.
A masked intruder broke into the Walgreens, 1800 S. Limestone St., early Monday morning and got away with medications from the pharmacy, according to a Springfield Police Division incident report.
The break-in occurred just before 3 a.m. Police responded after someone reported a person dressed in all black and wearing a mask was seen leaving the store, police said. Store managers told police several items, including medications, were taken from the pharmacy department, police said.
