A man stole two bottles of laundry soap from a local business Tuesday, Feb. 2, and then fled in a vehicle he stole in the lot outside.
According to a report by the Springfield Police Division, at 4:10 p.m. a man reported he was parked in the 1800 block of South Limestone Street when an unknown male opened his unlocked passenger side door and entered the car. The man said he fled the vehicle, and then the suspect jumped into the driver’s seat and stole the 1986 BMW, headed west on West John Street.
