Work crews at the building discovered the vehicle on Thursday morning when they reported for work. Officials are searching the large building for the driver.
INITIAL REPORT
Crews responded to a call of a vehicle in the basement of the Crowell Collier Building on West High Street in Springfield earlier today.
Early emergency scanner traffic indicated the vehicle went through the side of the building and ended up in the basement. There were no injuries reported.
