Coronavirus: 83,184 cases, 3,297 deaths in Ohio

There have been 83,184 cases and 3,297 deaths reported from coronavirus in Ohio as of Saturday, July 25. A total of 1,438 new cases were reported today, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

A total of 78,735 cases and 3,039 deaths are confirmed by the state. The Ohio Department of Health estimates that 57,731 people have recovered from the coronavirus. 10,145 people have been hospitalized since the beginning of the pandemic and 2,437 have been admitted to an intensive care unit.

This week, Montgomery County remains on a high alert under the monitoring system for coronavirus risk, with 732 new cases reported in two weeks and rising ER and outpatient visits for COVID-19.

The new COVID-19 case data and health care data was shared Thursday afternoon as part of the weekly update on what the level of coronavirus spread is in each Ohio county. Alerts are posted on coronavirus.ohio.gov.
