Wilson, the host of K99.1FM’s New Country Mornings, will broadcast live from the lobby of Dayton Children’s. Volunteers answer calls as donors— hopefully — keep phones ringing off the hook. K99.1FM is owned by Cox Media Group Ohio, which also owns Dayton.com.

Among the guests who will take part in the event during the three days are WHIO-TV’s Leticia Perry and Gabby Enright and Miss Ohio, Caroline Grace Williams.

For more than two decades, listeners have donated more than three million dollars to purchase life-saving equipment for Miami Valley children. All of the money stays at Dayton Children’s.

Listeners are being encouraged to become “Miracle Makers” by donating $15 a month for a year, however, callers can donate for as much and as long as they want.
