Twenty-three people were indicted this week in Clark County Common Pleas Court with the following charges:

Christopher B. Jennings, 24, of Springfield: Receiving stolen property.

Tamara S. Nuss, 66, of North Hampton: Theft.

Henry M. McWhorter, 47: Theft.

Karlon B. Avery. 48, of Springfield: Receiving stolen property.

Douglas Fairchild II, 44, of Springfield: Failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, obstructing official business.

Aaron M. Mullins, 35, of Springfield: Assault, obstructing official business.

Jonathan W. Robinson, 30: Theft.

Robert Kittle, 28, of Springfield: Burglary, possessing criminal tools.

Robert P. Douglas III, 45, of Springfield: Breaking-and-entering.

Harold L. Smith Jr., 57, of Springfield: Pandering obscenity involving a minor (three), rape (13 counts), gross sexual imposition (two counts).

Holly Shaw, 36, of Springfield: Violating a protection order.

Brett Murhahan, 22, of Springfield: Aggravated robbery, strangulation, domestic violence, kidnapping, abduction, disrupting public service.

Shane McDermott, 18, of Dayton: Failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

Lonnie A. Merrill Jr., 51,: Burglary.

Brandy Simcox, 37: Aggravated trafficking in drugs (three counts), aggravated possession of drugs, trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine, having weapons while under disability.

Michael G. Young, 34, of Springfield: Having weapons while under disability, aggravated menacing, domestic violence.

James K. Hall, 43, of Springfield: Receiving stolen property, trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine, having weapons while under disability.

Byron Carner, 33, of Cleveland: Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, theft (12 counts).

Todd Williams, 35, of Bedford, Ohio: Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, theft (12 counts).

Sean McCarthy, 29: Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, theft.

Wisman J. Pierre, 33, of Springfield: Felonious assault.

Christopher Oliver II, 20, of Springfield: Tampering with evidence, failure to stop after an accident (two counts), obstructing official business.

Howard Isley, 53, of Springfield: Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (two counts), obstructing official business, endangering children (two counts).
