Springfield News-Sun Subscription Terms & Conditions

Offers. Special offers are limited to new subscribers and former subscribers who have not subscribed in the past 90 days. Home delivery of print subscriptions is limited to where Cox First Media currently delivers. Offer terms subject to change. Additional restrictions may apply.

Digital Subscriptions. Your unlimited digital access subscription will automatically renew at the rate noted during checkout.

Digital + Print Subscriptions. Print delivery offers include unlimited digital access. Please allow up to 5 business days to process your print delivery subscription. Your digital access begins right away.

Premium Merchandise. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the premium item associated with this promotion (if applicable) to be mailed to the address provided. If for any reason your subscription terminates before the end of 90 days, you will be charged the value of the premium received.

Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions will automatically renew for the term specified and are billed or charged in advance, until you cancel. You may change your payment preferences, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time at myaccount.springfieldnewssun.com or by contacting us at customercare@SpringfieldNewsSun.com or 800-441-6397. You must cancel your subscription before it renews each billing period to avoid charging the next billing period’s subscription fee to your payment method. When you cancel, you cancel only future charges associated with your subscription. Your cancelation will become effective at the end of your current billing period.

Autopay. Autopay is an automatic payment applied to your credit card, debit card or checking account per billing period. We will deduct the noted subscription rate from your selected payment method prior to each renewal until you notify us to cancel. Your cancelation must be received at least 3 business days before your next billing date. Additionally, any outstanding balances will be added to your first payment. Autopay subscribers will be notified 30 days in advance of any price increase after the initial term selected. You must cancel your subscription before it renews each billing period to avoid charging the next billing period’s subscription fee to your payment method. Grace. If you don’t make a payment at the expiration of your subscription term, your digital access will continue for 14 days. Home delivery will continue for 47 days if you receive a paper bill, or 60 days if you are on autopay. This grace period maintains your access in the event of a late payment, and you will continue to be charged for uninterrupted service. To avoid incurring charges during the grace period, you must cancel your subscription before it renews for the next billing period.

Refunds. For digital subscriptions, payments are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used billing periods (unless required by law). For all subscriptions, you can cancel only future charges associated with your subscription. Your cancelation will become effective at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have digital access and home delivery for the balance of the billing period as long as you reside in our home delivery service area. Upon cancelation of your home delivery + digital subscription, the unused home delivery portion of your subscription above $3.00 can be refunded by contacting us at 800-441-6397.

Contact. By providing your payment method information and clicking the PLACE ORDER button, you confirm that you have read these Subscription Terms and Conditions and you agree that Cox First Media and the Springfield News-Sun may contact you at the email address and phone number provided via calls and text messages about your account and with offers, including calls and text messages made with an automatic dialer and prerecorded voice.
