Cedarville now plans to name a new building on campus after Lorne Scharnberg, who previously served as chairman of the school’s board of trustees. Cedarville’s upcoming business and conference center is the building that will bear Lorne Scharnberg’s name, according to the school.
The building will be located on the campus’ Cedar Lake between the Stevens Student Center and the Dixon Ministry Center, according to the school. The university plans to start Architectural planning this spring.
“I am thrilled to announce that our new school of business building will be named the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center,” said Cedarville president Thomas White. “For years to come, there will be a stone of remembrance on this campus to celebrate all that Lorne Scharnberg and his family have done to further the mission and vision of Cedarville University.”
