AFRL boosts contract limit for software network support

The Air Force Research Laboratory has awarded an additional $85 million of work to a Colorado-based company for expanded development and support of software the government uses to find, track and target enemy forces.

Intelligent Software Solutions Inc.’s task is to support the Web-Enabled Temporal Analysis System, used by the Air Force, Defense Department, intelligence community, other federal agencies and U.S. allies to track enemy movements.

The AFRL award increases to $583 million, from the prior $498 million, the maximum amount for ordering under the contract with the Colorado Springs, Colo., company.

The AFRL issued the contract modification from its Rome, N.Y., operation, which reports to supervisors at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
