Fall-like weather to continue into the weekend

Skies overnight become partly cloudy to mostly clear. It will be another cool night with temperatures dropping into the upper 40s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Friday:  Expect a mix of sun and clouds and pleasantly mild weather with temperatures near 70 degrees.

Saturday: Sunny skies will start the weekend with highs in the upper 60s.

Sunday: Slightly warmer weather will end the weekend with lots of sunshine. Highs will rebound into the lower 70s, but stay below normal.

Monday: High clouds will push in, with highs in the lower 70s.

Tuesday:  Clouds will thicken with showers developing, especially late in the day or evening as the remnants of Hurricane Irma approach. It also will become breezy at times with wind gusts up to or perhaps more than 30 mph by late day or evening. Severe winds are not expected. Highs will drop into the upper 60s.
