Sunny today, President’s Day and most of the week with warming trends expected

Plentiful sunshine with highs in the upper 30s are expect today, followed by a clear overnight with temperatures falling around 18 degrees.

Dry weather and mostly sunny conditions to continue today with temperatures moderating some but still remaining a few degrees below normal, according to the National Weather Service.

Gusty winds may be possible today but will diminish fairly quickly late in the day as the low moves east and the pressure gradient relaxes, the NWS added.

President’s Day may start off with foggy patterns in the morning. A sunny day will be ahead with a high of 42 degrees along with mostly clear skies overnight and a low of 22 degrees.

Dry weather will occur this week with a warming trend expected, the NWS said. Tuesday brings a mostly sunny sky and a high of 49 degrees, followed by a partly overcast night with a low of 33 degrees.

On Wednesday, some more sunshine creeps in with temperatures rising near almost 60 degrees. Quiet conditions are expected Wednesday night with increased clouds and a low of 42 degrees.

A chance of rain is possible Thursday but otherwise will be mostly cloudy. The high will be near 56 degrees. Thursday night will be fairly overcast with the possibility of rain.

The low will fall around 36 degrees.
