Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high near 40 before a cold front will knock temperatures back down late in the day. Overnight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 16 degrees.
Accumulating snow is likely for Thursday, the NWS said, and bitter cold air will hit the region. Forecasts range from 1.5 to 2.5 inches of snow, but NWS forecasts said the amount will depend on the storm’s final path.
The snow is expected mainly after 4 p.m. Otherwise, skies will be mostly cloudy with a high near 23 degrees. A chance for snow exists before 1 a.m. with an overnight low around 10 degrees.
The wind chill could be zero to minus 10 by Friday morning.
Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 21 and overnight lows in the single digits.
