Today will be warm and breezy with rain in late evening, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

A Wind Advisory is in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday for Butler, Greene, Montgomery, Preble and Warren counties, issued by the NWS. During that time, there will be sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and knock down tree limbs, possibly causing power outages.

Rain chances will start up again around the evening commute, with showers becoming likely be around 8 p.m. Rain will continue through the late evening, falling again around midnight for a slight chance of rain that will linger through the rest of the night as clouds decrease.

Temperatures will be warm, with a high around 68 degrees and a low around 58 degrees.

Thursday will be warm, sunny and windy, with gusts reaching up around 44 mph and sustained winds of up to 29 mph. Highs will climb a little further to around 72 degrees.

Overnight, breezy winds will continue before midnight, and temperatures will plummet, dropping way down to around 26 degrees. There will be a few more clouds, but it will still be mostly clear by the morning on Friday.

Friday will be mostly sunny and cold, with a high around 38 degrees.

Clouds will increase again overnight, with a slight chance of some snow after midnight. Lows will again be around 26 degrees.

Saturday will be cloudy and warmer, with highs back in the upper 40s.
