Some rainfall could be locally heavy across areas west of Interstate 75. Overnight temperatures will fall to around 58 degrees.
Showers continue Wednesday, and the area is under a slight risk of excessive rainfall, according to the NWS’s Weather Prediction Center. Much cooler air rushes in behind the cold front, leading to temperatures dropping below average through at least the end of the workweek. The temperature will fall to around 55 degrees by 4 p.m.
Showers remain Wednesday night, mainly before 4 a.m., with an overnight low around 49 degrees.
There is a chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny and warmer with a high near 65 degrees. Skies will be mostly clear Thursday night with an overnight low around 49 degrees.
Skies will be sunny with a high near 73 degrees for Friday.
