Warm and partly cloudy today; chance of rain returns tomorrow

After a foggy start to Tuesday, skies will start out cloudy then gradually clear as the day goes on, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Highs today will be around 80 degrees.

Overnight, skies will partly cloudy to start with, but quickly increase again in the early-morning hours.

Lows will be around 63 degrees.

On Wednesday, there will be a chance of rain beginning soon after dawn and increasing throughout the morning, making showers likely in the early afternoon.

Rain chances will dip slightly in the later afternoon but will continue through the night, with showers becoming likely again in the early hours.

In the early afternoon there will also be a slight chance of thunderstorms which will stay along with rain chances overnight.

Temperatures will be around the same on Wednesday, with highs around 80 degrees and lows around 65 degrees.

Thursday will be rainy with a slight chance of thunderstorms through the day.

After night falls, storm chances will increase, but both rain and thunderstorm chances will drop again around midnight, gradually falling as the night goes on.

Highs on Thursday will be around 76 degrees, and lows will be around 63 degrees.
