Mostly sunny, hot today, tomorrow; Showers, storms to arrive this weekend

Today will be a “picture perfect” day, with plenty of sunshine and hot temperatures, according to the National Weather Service. The summer-like weather is expected to continue tomorrow before rain and storms move in during the weekend.

It will be dry and sunny today, with hotter than normal temperatures.

Highs will be around the low to mid-80s, followed by a mostly clear night with a low around 60 degrees.

On Friday, there will be a few more clouds, but skies will still be mostly sunny with highs around 82 degree, followed by a mostly clear night with a low around 60 degrees.

For Saturday, however, there will be a chance of rain starting soon after the sun rises, joined by a chance of thunderstorms around noon.

Showers will be likely by the early afternoon, with a chance of thunderstorms. Scattered showers are expected throughout the day, with the possibility of thunder remaining.

Rain and storm chances will continue through the late evening. A cold front moving in from the west will bring additional rain and storm chances Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Wet weather continues Sunday with the possibility for more thunder. Highs will reach up to around 83 degrees. It will be most cloudy overnight, with a low around 62 degrees.
