Mostly cloudy, scattered showers possible today; Widespread rain overnight

Today will be mostly cloudy with isolated and scattered showers possible during the day before rain becomes widespread overnight, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Highs will be near 51 degrees, while the overnight low will fall around 43 degrees.

Widespread showers will start just before midnight, with winds expected to increase overnight. Gusts of 30 to 35 mph are possible.

Rain showers continue into morning commute Tuesday and will start to become isolated showers again in the early afternoon. Winds will also continue through the early afternoon, according to the NWS.

Most of the Dayton and Miami Valley region are expected to get 0.25 to 0.5 inches of rain, with southwest Ohio and the Cincinnati area expected to receive 0.5 inches to an inch.

Highs will rise into the upper 50s, while the overnight low will fall around 37 degrees.

Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy.

Wednesday will be drier, but chillier. Highs will reach the upper 40s.

It will be mostly cloudy followed by a a mostly clear Wednesday night with a low of 29 degrees.

Thanksgiving will be sunny but chilly with a high of 50 degrees. Overnight, expect mostly cloudy skies with lows dropping into the lower 30s.
