Frost Advisory overnight: Cold temperatures could kill plants

There is a Frost Advisory in place in Champaign, Shelby and Mercer Counties from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. on April 26, the National Weather Service announced. Temperatures in the area could drop as low as 36 degrees, which means frost could form and kill sensitive vegetation.

The Miami Valley could see temperatures as high as 81 degrees on Tuesday. Overnight, temperatures will drop to about 62 degrees, the NWS said. Tuesday is expected to be sunny and clear.
