A Frost Advisory will be in effect from 2 to 9 a.m. Wednesday for the region, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Temperatures as low as 34 degrees are expected. Frost could kill uncovered sensitive plants if left outside or uncovered.

Skies will be mostly clear for a cool, sunny Tuesday with a high near 58 degrees.

Tonight there will still be some clouds as temperatures drop to around the mid-30s, possibly causing patchy frost before the sun comes up.

Wednesday’s forecast is similar to today’s, with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures around 62 degrees. It’s about 10 to 15 degrees below season norms, according to the NWS. Wednesday night will be mostly clear and cold, with a low around 39 degrees.

Thursday will be a little warmer with a few more clouds, but the NWS still predicted it will be dry, with highs around 66 degrees and overnight lows around 44 degrees.

While temperatures will remain lower than normal this week, temperatures will gradually rise and reach the upper 60s to low 70s on Saturday. Highs should reach the low 70s on Sunday and hit the middle to upper 70s on Monday.
