Cool with clearing skies today; Sunny, chilly this weekend

Today will be have mild temperatures, with skies clearing in the morning for a sunny afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Highs will be around 60 degrees.

It will also be breezy this afternoon, with wind gusts of 10 to 20 mph possible. There is an increased fire threat today in the Miami Valley until 6 p.m. due to winds and low humidity levels, according to the NWS.

Outdoor burning is not recommended today due to an increased risk of fires spreading quickly.

Tonight, it will be clear and freezing cold, with lows around 32 degrees.

For Veterans Day, it will be sunny and chilly, with highs around 51 degrees. Overnight there will be a few more clouds, but again temperatures will fall to around freezing, with lows near 32 degrees.

Sunday’s weather will be similar to Saturday, but slightly warmer. Skies will clear again and highs will be around 55 degrees.

Sunday night will be clear with a low around 31 degrees.

Mild, dry weather continues for the first part of next week, with sunny, clear skies expected on Monday and Tuesday.

High temperatures will be around 60 degrees Monday, with lows just above freezing.

On Tuesday, temperatures will be in the upper 50s.
