Cold northwest flow is expected to bring very cold temperatures and snow showers, the NWS said in a Twitter post.
Snow showers may be briefly heavy and reduce visibilities in a short amount of time, the NWS said.

Scattered show showers are possible today, mainly between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 24 and blustery. Winds of 14 to 20 mph and gusts as high as 30 mph. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 18 degrees. The wind gusts will ease as the evening goes on.
A significant warmup starts Sunday, which will be dry with seasonable weather.
It will be mostly sunny with a high near 48 degrees on Sunday. However, it will be breezy with some gusts as high as 32 mph. Sunday night will be mostly clear with a low around 34 degrees.
To start the workweek, the NWS predicted Monday will be mostly sunny and breezy, with highs rising up to around 59 degrees.
Clouds will increase for Monday night, and there will be a slight chance for some rain after midnight. Lows will be around 42 degrees.
Highs for the workweek are expected to reach into the 60s Tuesday and Wednesday and the 70s on Thursday.
