All-American to play for UD volleyball

Jenna Jendryk, a 2012 Under Armour High School All-American, will play volleyball next season for the Dayton Flyers.

Jendryk, a 6-foot right-side/outside hitter from Wheaton Ill., led Benet Academy to the Illinois Class 4A state title in 2011. The school was ranked No. 8 nationally by ESPN.

Dayton opens its season Aug. 24 against Illinois in the Flyer Classic.
