Rain returns to the Miami Valley

Expect on and off showers and a chance for a thunderstorm. Temperatures slowly will drop back into the lower 60s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Wednesday: Showers will be around during the morning then taper off with some breaks in the clouds possible late. Highs will reach into the lower 70s by early afteernoon then begin to fall.

Drivers are dealing with dense patches of fog in Greene County near WSU, WPAFB.

Thursday: Clouds will linger through much of the day with more seasonable temperatures in the upper 60s.

Friday: Sunshine returns with a warming trend getting underway. Highs will rebound into the middle 70s.

Saturday: Lots of sunshine will start the weekend with unseasonably high temperatures near 80 degrees.

Sunday: The day will start with sunshine with increasing clouds. It will be breezy and warm with highs in the upper 70s. Look for the threat for showers and perhaps some storms by late in the day.
