Cool, breezy as temperatures stay above freezing

Winds could pick up today, reaching up to 16 mph during the day. Overnight lows will fall to the low 30s. Flurries or drizzle is possible north of Interstate 70. Fog may develop overnight and into tomorrow morning that could affect the Tuesday morning commute.

It will be warmer Tuesday with temperatures reaching the low 40s and melting snow packs. High winds, between 11 and 15 mph will continue until the evening, when wind speeds will slow to between 6 and 9 mph. More fog may be likely into Wednesday morning.

Patchy fog will cover the area before 9 a.m. on Wednesday, the NWS said. The afternoon high will be 44 degrees. A chance for rain returns later in the afternoon and into Wednesday evening. Overnight lows will fall to around 27 degrees.

Highs on Thursday will be above freezing again, reaching the middle to high 30s.

Weather may be active more this weekend, with the forecast showing a threat of rain or snow. Warmer temperatures this week should limit any snowfall to the northern Miami Valley.
