Two area men win lottery

DAYTON- Two players of Ohio Lottery games who live in the Dayton area have won top prizes. Kenneth Hartley of Troy won $130,000 after matching all five numbers drawn in the December 7 Rolling Cash 5 game. Wendell Cornelison of Mechanicsburg won $100,000 after scratching Silver & Gold.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Hartley receives $89,700. Cornelison receives $69,000.

Using auto lotto, Hartley purchased the ticket from American Legion. The winning numbers were 7-15-18-29-39. Located at 2252 N. Dayton Lakeview Road in New Carlisle, American Legion receives a $500 agent bonus for selling a five-of-five Rolling Cash 5 winning ticket.

Cornelison purchased the winning instant from Cassady’s, 90 S. Main Street in Mechanicsburg. Cassady’s receives a $1,000 bonus for selling a top prize winning instant game ticket.
