A few showers will move through the area during the overnight area, before ending and leaving some lingering clouds, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Some patchy fog could develop in areas that get rain with temperatures holding in the upper 60s.

Wednesday: A cold front crossing the Miami Valley will bring with it scattered showers and storms. While a few storms could produce gusty winds and locally heavy rain, widespread severe weather is not expected. Highs will reach back into the lower 80s before the front arrives.

Thursday: A few clouds will be around, mainly during the afternoon. Otherwise quiet and cooler weather is expected with highs in the upper 70s.

Friday: Look for lots of sunshine with just a few clouds around early. It will be pleasant with highs in the middle 70s.

Saturday: Sunny skies and pleasant temperatures will start the weekend with highs in the upper 70s after a morning start in the middle 50s.

Sunday: Another sunny day is expected with warmer temperatures. Highs will bounce back into the middle 80s.

Labor Day: Expect lots of sunshine for the holiday with highs back in the upper 80s. It will be a bit more humid as well.
