Springfield’s Meijer store has resumed normal operations Wednesday after a generator incident Tuesday disrupted shopping Tuesday.

The Meijer at 1500 Hillcrest Ave. had a generator fire on the roof Tuesday morning, according to a Meijer employee.

The store had no electricity and was forced to close.
