Springfield City Commissioners will be conducting a first reading tonight on a plan to develop 94 residential units on Middle Urbana Road.

Commissioners will be discussing a development plan that will allow for the multi-family units on 3641 Middle Urbana Road. A vote is not scheduled on the proposal tonight.

Springfield commissioners will begin their public meeting at 7 p.m. at City Hall, located at 76 East High Street.

In-person public participation will be allowed and those attending are required to wear face coverings, submit to temperature checks and follow social distancing protocols.
