The recipients of scholarships of $5,000 or more include:

Kendall DeWine, the daughter of John and Brenda Dewine, will attend Wittenberg University and major in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She accepted a total of $29,972 in scholarships from Wittenberg University Scholar Award, Wittenberg Board of Directors Grant, KTH Parts Industries Scholarship, John J. Corbitt Scholarship-Springfield Foundation and South Charleston American Legion.

Isabella Fairchild, the daughter of Rochelle and Greg Fairchild, will attend Otterbein University and major in Communications. She accepted a total of $12,000 in scholarships from Dean’s Scholarship and Communication Abilities Award.

Nicholas Hess, the son of Ron and Tammy Hess, will attend Ohio Northern University and major in Civil Engineering. He accepted a total of $15,600 in scholarships from Ohio Northern Academic Scholarship, South Charleston American Legion and Southeastern Athletic Boosters.

Jenna Leinasars, is the daughter of Ed and Shelley Leinasars, will attend The Ohio State University and major in Journalism. She accepted a total of $5,750 in scholarships from Springfield Foundation,Ralph H. and Kathryn Ann Harman Scholarship, Ohio State University Provo Scholarship, Union Club and Southeastern Athletic Boosters.

Millie Leonhard, the daughter of Damon and Linda Leonhard, will attend Wittenberg University, but her major is undecided. She accepted a total of $16,000 in scholarships from Wittenberg University.

Rachel Mills, the daughter of Bob and Amanda Mills, will attend Clark State Community College, but her major is undecided. She accepted a total of $10,100 in scholarships from Clark State Trustee Scholarship and South Charleston American Legion.

Zachary Smith, the son of Ryan and Nicole Smith, will attend Saint Leo University and major in Sports Management/Business. He accepted a total of $19,600 in scholarships from Saint Leo Academic Scholarship, Saint Leo FAFSA Early Filer Grant, Saint Leo Honors Scholarship, Saint Leo Out-of-State Grant, Saint Leo LEAD Program, Saint Leo Leadership Scholarship, Springfield Foundation (Virginia Edmondson Memorial), South Charleston American Legion and Union Club.

Thorne Stoops, the son of Tammy Stoops and Arthur Stoops, will attend Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy and major in Pharmacy. He accepted a total of $27,450 in scholarships from Ohio Northern University Presidential Scholarship, National Football Foundation High School Scholar Athlete, South Charleston American Legion, Springfield Foundation (Merlin G. Johnson Scholarship), ONU Polar Award, ONU Alumni Award, Methodist Grant, ONU General Grant, Union Club and Southeastern Athletic Boosters.

Mallory Toops, the daughter of Mark and Annie Toops, will attend Wilmington College and major in Special Education. She accepted a total of $8,600 in scholarships from Wilmington College Recognition Scholar and South Charleston American Legion.
