Tomorrow, Cincinnati and Columbus are expected to break heat records, with highs of 77 in Cincinnati and 76 in Columbus. The record for both cities was set in 1975 at 76 degrees. Dayton is projected to reach 76 degrees tomorrow, but the record high is 79, set in 1975.
On Tuesday, Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus are all expected to reach highs of 74 degrees despite chances of thunderstorms and showers, the National Weather Service said. Cincinnati will reach the record temperature of 74, set in 1964, 2002 and 2006, Columbus will break the record of 72 degrees set in 1949 and Dayton will break the record of 71 degrees, set in 2002 and 2006.
