A new nonstop flight from the Columbus International Airport to Seattle will begin in March.
The flight serviced by Alaska Airlines will run daily starting March 7, according to a release. Tickets for the flights are available online starting today.
“Alaska Airlines continues to connect the West Coast with exciting new destinations across the country,” said John Kirby, vice president of capacity planning and alliances at Alaska Airlines. “This new service to Columbus represents Alaska’s first destination in the Buckeye State, and our commitment to offer the most nonstop destinations from our hometown of Seattle.”
The airline operates 31 daily flights from the West Coast to 10 cities in the Midwest, but this is the airlines first Ohio destination.
