Which city is Springfield’s twin?

Springfield is unique in many ways, but the New York Times thinks its figured out which city is most like this one.

And it turns out, Springfield might be one in a set of triplets. The Times’ generator says Springfield relates most closely to two Ohio cities — Canton and Akron.
