Here’s five things to know about the popular event:
- The Food Truck Competition will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Admission is free, with food and beverages for sale.
- This year about 38 trucks will compete for the crown. Last year's winners, Tortilla Street Food and Mojo Tago, will return to defend their championships. They will face stiff competition as returning favorites and newcomers will give them a run for their money.
- Bands from various genres will bring live entertainment throughout the entire competition. Organizers are recommending you bring lawn chairs or blankets as seating will be limited.
- Springfield Rotary has provided a map of where your favorite food truck will be located and has an app that can be downloaded with updated info on the best parking spots and more.
