- Warm and muggy overnight
- Hot and humid rest of week
- Storms chances Wednesday through Friday
Overnight: A few more clouds will pass by overnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Otherwise, it will stay dry, mild and muggy as overnight lows drop to around 70 degrees.
Wednesday: A mild and muggy bus stop forecast as highs again soar to around 90 degrees and some scattered clouds develop during the day. It will be even more humid so the Heat Index will climb to the middle to upper 90s. Some passing showers and storms develop into the afternoon. Severe weather is not expected, though an isolated strong storm is possible.
Thursday: A mostly dry day, but another hot one with highs around 90 degrees and the Heat Index in the middle 90s. More sunshine for the afternoon so UV index stays high. We could see a pop-up downpour or storm with the heat of the day.
Friday: Another warm morning around 70 degrees, but temperatures will reach into the upper 80s. A front will swing through towards the evening bringing a better chance for scattered storms into the night. This could clip some football games this week.
Saturday: A break from the high heat and humidity for the start of the weekend as morning clouds break for sun. Highs will be back closer to normal in the low 80s and not as muggy.
Sunday: Conditions will be partly cloudy and warm with highs in the middle 80s.
