- Isolated PM showers possible Wednesday and Thursday
- Fall starts this weekend
Overnight: Mainly clear early then some more clouds arrive late tonight across the north. Slight chance of a few passing showers before dawn. Some areas of patchy fog also possible by morning. Overnight stays mild and muggy with lows in the upper 60s.
Wednesday: Some morning fog is possible to start the day. Watch for some localized denser areas of fog during the morning commute. Temperatures quickly will rise through the 70s before midday. Lots of sunshine is expected for the afternoon with an isolated chance for a passing shower or thunderstorm during the peak heating of the day. Another chance of a passing shower or storm is possible later in the evening across the north. Highs will reach into the middle 80s. Due to the humidity it will feel closer to 90 degrees.
Thursday: Muggy and mild early with temperatures rising through the 70s. Mostly sunny skies for the afternoon, which will be hot and humid with highs in the upper 80s and heat index values in the lower 90s. During the peak heating of the day there may be a stray shower or storm.
Friday: Partly cloudy, breezy and warm with highs in the middle 80s. As a cold front moves in from the northwest a few showers and storms are expected to develop late afternoon and evening. Touchdown 7 football games likely will be affected by these storms.
Saturday: A few morning showers are possible south early as the cold front settles to the south and stall. The front looks to stay far enough south that the rest of the day will remain dry but cooler with highs in the lower 70s.
Sunday: Partly sunny and cool again with highs in the lower 70s. A front to the south may bring some showers back into the area late-day.
