Listen to Springfield News-Sun now on Amazon Alexa

There’s a new way to get Clark and Champaign Counties’ local news. Now, thanks to the Springfield News-Sun, Amazon Alexa users can listen to news that gets you caught up on what’s happening in our community.

All you need to do is enable the Springfield News-Sun flash briefing in your Amazon app, then ask Alexa "What's in the news?" You'll get a briefing telling you what you need to know, from the news organization dedicated to covering Clark and Champaign counties.

How to enable the flash briefing:

Open your Alexa app
Click the menu on the upper left
Select "Skills"
Type "Springfield News-Sun" in the "Search all skills" box
Click "Springfield News-Sun" and enable the skill

From the menu, select "Settings"
Select "Flash briefing"
Click "Edit order"
Slide "Springfield News-Sun" up
