According to Springfield Police a child was transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center due to burn injuries, early Wednesday afternoon.
A detective on scene informed us that the child’s injuries are due to a, “Horrible accident.” Authorities also said the child was sent to Children’s Hospital via CareFlight after being evaluated at Springfield Medical Center.
