One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash Monday on U.S. 33 and County Road 10 interchange, according to the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
A 2007 Nissan Altima, driven by Heather M. Coe, 31, of Lakeview was traveling west on U.S. 33 around 1 p.m. when it went off the left side of the road, crossing the median and eastbound lanes. It then proceeded west up the east on-ramp from CR 10 to U.S. 33, where it struck multiple signs and a guardrail, then overturned and came to a rest.
Coe, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, Coe’s 8-year-old son Brysin A. Kuhlenbeck, was treated at the scene and released to a family member.
Troopers along with the Logan County Coroner’s Office, Bellefontaine Fire and EMS, Perry Twp. EMS and Logan County ODOT assisted at the crash that remains under investigation.
