Driver extricated, no injuries in Clark County crash

UPDATE @ 6:50 a.m: A driver was extricated from the vehicle they were driving after it ended up in a ditch following a crash on Troy Road Wednesday morning.

According to officials, the driver of a silver Nissan was attempting to turn into a nearby mini market when it hit another vehicle, causing that vehicle to go into a treeline in a ditch.

The driver of the vehicle in the ditch was trapped temporarily, but German Twp. crews were able to extricate him soon after.

No injuries were reported.

The driver of the silver Nissan will be cited for failure to yield, officials said.

Crews are on scene of a two-vehicle crash with reported entrapment on Troy Road that occurred Wednesday morning.

The incident was dispatched in the 3000 block around 6 a.m. with one vehicle reportedly into a ditch, per initial reports.

No word on injuries.
