Coronavirus: 37,282 total cases, 2,339 deaths reported in Ohio

There have been 37,282 total cases and 2,339 deaths attributed to coronavirus in the state, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

The state is reporting 34,639 confirmed cases and 2,117 deaths.

There have been 6,312 hospitalizations and 1,623 ICU admissions reported.

Gov. Mike DeWine canceled Thursday’s coronavirus briefing, but updates will be available on the state’s website today.

The governor was expected to give more details about zoos, amusement parks and other outdoor entertainment.

DeWine canceled the 2 p.m. briefing out of respect for the George Floyd memorial service, which is also scheduled for 2 p.m.

He also called for a statewide moment of silence at 2 p.m.

On June 8, assisted living centers and intermediate care facilities for those with developmental disabilities will be able to have outdoor visitations resume.
