FRIDAY: Mainly dry all day as the clouds will linger. The weather looks to be dry and cool for evening football games. Highs will be in the upper 60s. Toward sunrise, rain showers will develop in the far southern Miami Valley.

SATURDAY: An area of low pressure will move through the Miami Valley from the south in a system that will feature more moisture and bring our best chance of steady, beneficial amounts of rainfall -- from 1 to 3 inches, which will help with drought conditions but won't be great for Halloween plans.
