DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: High clouds will pass through overnight, but it stays dry, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Temperatures will fall back into the upper 20s. Some areas of fog will develop by daybreak.

Christmas Eve: The morning will bring patchy fog and temperatures near 30 degrees. Later, Tuesday will be dry and quiet with filtered sunshine and highs around 50 degrees. The evening will turn chilly quickly after sunset.

Christmas: Highs will be in the mid-50s again on Wednesday with dry weather and a mix of sunshine and clouds.

Thursday: Highs will be in the middle to upper 50s, but with a little more cloud cover.

Friday: Highs again will be in the mid-50s with mostly cloudy skies.

Saturday: Clouds will increase throughout the day, with showers moving into the region starting in the afternoon into evening. Temperatures will climb into the mid-50s yet again. Late day to evening will become increasingly breezy.
