Brown announced last week he would not be entering the primary race, stating he’d rather continue fighting for Ohio in the U.S. Senate.
Brown said it’s too early to name a leader among the 13 Democrats who have launched presidential campaigns, but he’ll work to influence the narratives with his “Dignity of Work” message.

“My role in this is when I started my Dignity of Work tour back in January was to inform the narrative ... Democrats and Republicans by and large have betrayed workers,” Brown said. “Look at what the president did in Lordstown with the GM plant ... Democrats have to talk to workers more, and that needs to be part of the narrative.”

Brown defined his message, stating, “If you love your country, you fight for the people that make it work.”
“That’s my mission in this campaign: to keep fighting for Ohio, but to help my colleagues running for president fix their message a little bit and not just because dignity of work is who I am and what I fought for, it’s also how you govern come January.”
